Artist in Residency Calvary Mater Hospice

Over several month I was fortunate to participate in an artist residency in the Calvary Mater Hospice. During weekly visits I worked with patients and family members on individual designs. Sometimes I was asked to do an artwork in response to the patient's life stories using personal photos, other times I was assisting the patients design vision and other times the patients created the design themselves. On quiet days, I worked on my own designs. All designs were transferred to a ceramic plate and exhibited on the hospice wall as part of a community installation. Due to privacy reason only a few plates can be shown here. The  installation at the ward displayed 14 plates.
